Camouflaging an unused fireplace in a 1924 Bungalow
The brick hearth was dug out and removed
Three repurposed cabinet doors were fitted along the opening between the existing cabinets covering the front of the fireplace opening. I matched the wood flooring and painted the doors and trim.
When in doubt, take a hands on approach….
This was my first tiling gig years ago and I loved the challenge! Removing the high gloss black granite and replacing it with a look that gave the room a noticeable facelift.
